  • IMPROVED The weather radar coverage area for our JavaScript maps and Mapping APIs has been expanded to show more detail in regions throughout the world.

July 8, 2020

  • NEW New parameters were added to the Routing Layer of our JavaScript Maps that allow you to:

    • Choose whether toll roads should be avoided when generating a route. Options for the new tollRoads parameter include use, avoid if possible, and always avoid.

    • Choose to avoid or favor specific states or countries when generating a route. The new parameters are: avoidCountry, avoidState, favorCountry, and favorState.

  • IMPROVED The hazMatType and tunnelCategory parameters can now accept an array of values.

  • IMPROVED The emiType parameter used in Toll Detail Reports in Europe supports two additional emissions types: EURO 0 and EURO EEV.

  • IMPROVED New options were added for the WeatherRadar Layer, including wind and temperature forecasts and severe weather conditions.

Nov. 21, 2019

  • IMPROVED The region parameter in the Base Map layer no longer defaults to North America (NA). This allows customers licensed for Worldwide data to access the full data set without setting the region.

  • NEW New hazmat types and tunnel categories for the European Region have been added to enhance routing in our JavaScript and Leaflet Plugin.

  • IMPROVED Added the ability to use Trimble Maps curated premium satellite imagery to the Leaflet Plugin.

  • IMPROVED Added the ability to control what data is overlaid on map tiles to the Leaflet Plugin.

  • NOTE Updated map tiles to show the new Trimble Maps logo.
