This is the ALK Maps API documentation.Layers
A layer is the primary component to ALK Maps. A map is made of layers, and these layers provide for such displays as Roads, Satellite, and Terrain. It also provides layers as overlays, such as Traffic and Weather. A collection of available ALK Layers may be found here:
Interactions
Interactions are devices that are placed on the map that may interact with one or more layers simultaneously. A collection of available ALK Interactions may be found here:
Sources
Sources provide information to a Layer. All ALK Layers use ALK Sources. An ALK Source is the middle man that retrieves data from ALK Services and provides it to a particular layer. A collection of ALK Sources may be found here:Services
Services retreive information from various ALK internet services. They are usually used in conjunction with providing the necessary information to the layers via ALK Sources. A collection of ALK Services may be found here:
